Chairman & CEO

Scott Silver

Mr. Silver, the founder and Chairman of Hospitality Funding Inc. has 30 years of experience on Wall Street with particular expertise as an advisor in raising joint venture equity, debt, mezzanine financing, REITs, and M&A. He has been an advisor on over $2 billion of transactions. Mr. Silver is skilled at sourcing capital and identifying opportunities to match companies with the optimum capital partners. Prior to founding Hospitality Funding Inc., Mr. Silver was General Partner at The Sapphire Group, a boutique merchant bank, where he launched the group’s specialty finance/REIT practice. Prior to joining the Sapphire Group, Mr. Silver spent 20 years at large Wall Street investment banks, including UBS, Warburg Dillon Read, Paine Webber, and Lehman Brothers.

Steven Fischler

After spending 8 years at Lehman Brothers, including 3 years managing some of the most high profile real estate assets in the Lehman Bankruptcy (including Canyon Ranch Miami Beach & Setai South Beach) Mr. Fischler started his own real estate investment and opportunity company. Leveraging his relationships in the financial world, in the South Florida market, and hands on experience at the aforementioned properties, he offers invaluable insight and experience on complex condo/hotel properties.

Josh Freed

Josh has an extensive background in Hotel, Multi-Family and Residential development having personally sourced over $1 Billion in capital across these sectors. He has built capital stacks working with senior debt, pension funds, including CalSTRS and CalPERS, and several sources of large private capital. Josh has a particular expertise in sourcing bridge and construction loans as well as loans for gut-rehab projects.  He has many years of experience in the single-family and multi-family development world and has built and developed 1,500 lots and homes.  Josh helps consult with clients to find the best path forward, both for their benefit and that of the overall project and its members.

Bridget Delsol

Bridget leads the middle market capital raising efforts at Hospitality Funding from family offices and ultra-high net worth individuals. After spending four years with Gartner, Bridget brings a global perspective on capital raising to Hospitality Funding.

 

 

Managing Director

Bob Waun

Bob Waun is an expert in second home and resort finance. He has advised major lenders in creating a high yielding seller financed mortgage portfolio and has personally originated over $1 billion in residential mortgages during his 20+ year career. Bob has worked for large banks such as Wells Fargo and smaller boutique banks in the development of new consumer loan programs for condo hotel, fractional, resort condominium and timeshare projects. Mr. Waun is a popular speaker in the resort industry, is a founding board member of NACHO — The National Association of Condo Hotel Owners, and a Chairman’s club member of ARDA — The American Resort Developer’s Association. He currently sits on the Boards of Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel Real Estate, Condo Coalition, Ligon/Krsge Eye Research Institute, Volvo Ocean Sailboat Race, and the Birmingham City (MI) Principal Shopping District Board.

Michael Lovata

Since 1987, Mr. Lovata has held senior level executive positions for both national and global commercial real estate lending, mortgage brokerage and hospitality firms. Such companies include Finova Capital Corporation, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc, and Grayhawk Capital Funding, LLC. While at Starwood, specifically, Mr. Lovata created and directed Starwood’s mezzanine debt-financing program for the development and construction of new hotel properties for the benefit of Starwood, its venture partners, and franchisees globally. Mr. Lovata specializes in finding SPA solutions.

Curt Riggs

With experience in asset management, restructuring, financial analysis and underwriting, Mr. Riggs has comprehensive knowledge of the intricacies of commercial real estate and the formula for an asset’s success. Mr. Riggs has previously consulted for Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. through restructuring and management of high profile assets in the South Florida market. Mr. Riggs also worked in Wealth Management for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
